Award Amount: $500
Eligibility: Graduating high school senior with a minimum 2.8 GPA and significant verifiable community service. Applicants must be residents of Beaumont or Cherry Valley.

Instructions: Please complete all sections of this application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Attach all required documents, including transcripts, your essay, statement of financial need and recommendation letter. Applications must be received by the deadline.

Essay (600 Words): Attach a typed essay of approximately 600 words responding to the following prompt: “Describe a community service experience that had a significant impact on your life. What did you learn from it, and how has it shaped your goals or perspective?”

Financial Need Statement (100 Words): Attach a typed statement of approximately 100 words describing your financial need. While the main focus is on community service, academics, and financial need are considered as well.

Recommendation Letter: Include one signed letter of recommendation from an adult who supervised your community service. The letter should describe your contributions, reliability, and impact. The recommender must provide their name, title, organization, and contact information.
